The Chilean territory is rich in geothermal resources, thanks to our type of soil and the large number of volcanoes that we have in our country because we are in the "Pacific Fire Belt", which is why we could generate geothermal energy in the north , the center and the south of our country. Even in Antarctic and insular territory we find volcanoes, so we could, for example, develop geothermal on an island such as Rapa Nui, thus decreasing its dependence on imported fossil fuels, while at the same time cleaning up its energy matrix.
